About Visitor Visas & Super Visa

Citizens of most countries need a Temporary Resident Visa (visitor visa) to enter Canada for tourism, family visits or short business trips. The visa itself is a simple document; the decision behind it is not. Officers refuse visitor visas when they are not satisfied the applicant will leave at the end of the stay, and refusal letters rarely explain what was missing.

Parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents have a better option: the Super Visa. It is a multiple-entry visa that allows stays of up to five years at a time, with the possibility of a two-year extension from inside Canada, and it has become the practical route since the Parents and Grandparents sponsorship program was paused in July 2026.

We prepare visitor and Super Visa applications that answer the officer’s concerns before they are raised — ties to home, purpose of travel, finances, travel history and, where there was a previous refusal, exactly what has changed.
