EB-5 Program Requirements
To qualify for the EB-5 program, applicants must meet the following general requirements:
- Invest USD $800,000 in an approved EB-5 project located in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA)
- Demonstrate a lawful, well-documented source of funds
- The investment must be placed at risk, as required by U.S. immigration law
- The project must create a minimum of 10 qualifying U.S. jobs per investor
- No language requirement
- No age limit
- No business, management, or education background required
- Spouses and unmarried children under 21 are included in the same application.

Initial Contact & NDA
Contact our team to request a free consultation and a Confidentiality & Non-Circumvention Agreement (NDA). A signed NDA is required for detailed project disclosure.

Confidential Project Disclosure
Receive a detailed confidential brochure containing all investment project details, along with FRBD Consulting’s retainer agreement outlining our advisory and coordination role.
4 step
Retainer Execution & Case Preparation
FRBD provides a customized document checklist and leads full case preparation, including intake forms, documentation review, source-of-funds structuring, and risk assessment.
5 step
Engagement with U.S. Immigration Counsel
FRBD completes full case preparation and coordinates engagement with our U.S. immigration counsel partner.
6 step
Project Documentation & Investment
The client executes the required agreements with the Regional Center and project sponsor. Investment capital and administrative fees are transferred in accordance with program requirements.
7 step
Petition Filing & USCIS Review
U.S. immigration counsel files Form I-526E with USCIS.
8 step
Conditional Residence
Upon approval, the investor and eligible family members receive 2-year conditional U.S. green cards, allowing them to live, work, and study anywhere in the United States.
9 step
Removal of Conditions & Permanent Residence
Near the end of the 2-year period, Form I-829 is filed to remove conditions. Upon approval, the investor receives a 10-year permanent green card, allowing eligibility to apply for U.S. citizenship.
10 step
Capital Exit (Project-Dependent)
Return of capital is based on project performance, refinancing, or sale, typically targeted within 3–5 years.
