Option 1
Spain Digital Nomad Visa
Legal residence for remote professionals working for companies or clients outside Spain.
This program is intended for non-EU nationals who perform professional activities remotely for employers or clients located outside Spain. It is suitable for salaried employees, freelancers, consultants, and business owners earning income abroad.
Option 2
Spain Non-Lucrative Residence
Legal residence in Spain without engaging in local employment or professional activity.
This program is intended for individuals with independent financial means who wish to reside in Spain without working locally. Applicants may continue receiving income from abroad, such as savings, dividends, pensions, or other passive income, provided they can demonstrate sufficient resources to support themselves and their family.

Processing Time & Residence Structure
- Processing time: approximately 3 months
- Residence permits are renewable
- Long-term permanent residence may be applied for after 5 years of continuous and legal residence in Spain
- Permanent residents are legally permitted to work in Spain without changing residence category
- Citizenship may be available thereafter, subject to Spanish nationality laws and eligibility

Entry & Residence Registration
Once approved, the applicant enters Spain within the authorized timeframe and completes local registration to obtain the residence card.
